Don't Mess With Texas Cleanup Event 2012

2012 Great American CleanupVolunteers Nationwide participated in the 2012 Great American Cleanup promoted by Keep America Beautiful. Pictured are some of the many volunteers who picked up trash along the roads of Grapevine. Keep Grapevine Beautiful arranged this important event on April 14th at the Nash Farm where volunteers returned for a picnic lunch, music and prizes. A big thank you to all those thoughtful volunteers who helped Grapevine be a greener city.


Firestation #2 March 2012

Firestation March 2012A planting project involving a joint effort between KGVB who arranged and managed the event, Verizon Volunteers, The Grapevine Garden Club who donated $200 and four volunteers and the Grapevine Parks and Recreation Department who donated the plants. Everyone did an awesome job and we are looking forward to viewing the garden later this summer once it fills in.
